Theology of Prathyaksha Raksha Daiva Sabha
The PRDS (Prathyaksha Raksha Daiva Sabha) outline a unique theology centered on divine liberation for the oppressed, particularly Kerala's slave castes through Trinity incarnations (God, Son, Holy Spirit) who descend humbly to Earth in various forms and eras.
Key Beliefs
Trinity's Multiple Descents and Gifts: The Trinity arrives on Earth, especially among slaves, bestowing promises (vāgdattha), names, thrones, and heaven (swargam) as eternal gifts, entrusting heavenly rule to descendants of slaves.
Heavenly Kingdom on Earth: A new Jerusalem manifests on Earth via fulfilled promises, where heaven's order (plān, vyavasthā) governs; the last generation (antyatalamūra) triggers Earth's rebirth (punarjanmam), uniting heavenly and earthly rulers.
Resurrection and Return: The deceased—tragic slave victims return transformed with new garments to reign; biblical figures Adam, Eve, Moses, Solomon, apostles, Jesus' mother, disciples gather in the kingdom.
Human Deification and Salvation: Faithful receive a heavenly seal (swarga mudra), transform (rūpāntaram), become god-like (daivangal), and reign eternally with God and Son amid angels and seraphim; the saved unite as one.
Heavenly Hierarchy: God reigns on a throne in the highest heaven; angels, seraphim, deities dwell separately in layered realms, praising and gathering in celebratory assemblies.
Trinity Incarnations
The God (Daivam), Holy Spirit (Athmavu), and Son (Putran)—descending to Earth in unified yet distinct manifestations, emphasizing humble, transformative visits to fulfill divine promises among the faithful, particularly the oppressed.
All three members arrive together on Earth. God, Holy Spirit and the Son changes form (vesham maari) to incarnate, highlighting adaptive, veiled appearances across times.
God promises (vagdattha) , grants reign/rule (vazhcha), personal names, and thrones (simhasanam) directly to the chosen recipients (e.g., slaves or faithful).
Incarnations initiate a process where time completes, triggering arrivals of reigners, gods and seraphim to establish unified rule. Earthly and heavenly rulers merge (ekamaayi vazhum) in the promised heaven (vagdattha swargam) on Earth.
This portrays cyclical, multi-era visits blending incarnation, promise-giving, departure, and return, culminating in a transformed kingdom where the Trinity elevates humanity to co-reign.
